Still looking couldn't put the deal together as the salesman was offering silly money for mine and would have put me quite a bit in neg equity. Went to Stockport and had a drive of another mps mk2 and liked the car but it had 4 owners in 24 months and when I asked for the previous owners name or address I hit a complete stone wall from the dealer and he could not give me any history or the service book as he said he was waiting for the documentation .?...all very strange from a dealer who had 20k cars on the forecourt and their probably was nothing wrong with the car but it unsettled me that it had 4 owners in such a short spell two I would expect or at a push three if it had been a x demo but 4 and the dealer was not accurate on the phone in his description as it defo needed 2 tyres and not being picky but you expect a few thousand miles before you change them. Keep looking and have a new lead so fingers crossed.
