hi all thought id get registered on the site and gain some knowledge of the 3mps. looking to replace my current car with a 3 mps as i need 5 doors (1 3yr old boy and 1 baby due november) and for it to still move some. got 3k in my car fund at the moment and if i can sell my 04 corolla tsport 49kmiles for 2k then it wont take me long for another 3k and i have my budget of 8k for a 3mps. aint in too much of a rush at the moment just want to research and gain as much info as i can about the car before buying one. thanks, daz.

Same reason I bought one as I wanted something with a bit of poke plus 5 doors.
Very capable car with some issues but nothing major if you get the right one. Only downside is the massive tax at 470 a year

Great little cars. yeah i love mine, love the sound of lift with my typhoon the most and i keep saying to myself its only a sound but i know i will miss that sound, im hoping that boost will cure this though as ive never had a turbo car and only ever been in one boosted car and that being a friends old mr2 ( obviously not in same league as a 3mps ) i would maybe save up more for a mk2 but that will take me to 11k+ and that will take me twice as long to save up , could be a year untill i get to that. ill just follow the site for a while and when i get close to 8k see what is around and maybe see how the market is and whats on offer. i see some 6mps on pistonheads but the all usualy have 50k+ miles
