2006 Mazda 6 MPS 2.3 Turbo AWD (Velocity Red) for sale

I am selling my Mazda 6 MPS after nearly a year of ownership. I don’t really need a 4 door saloon for daily driving, and so will be freeing up some cash to fund a project car to work on over the next few years (Mazda RX7).

The Car

• 2.3L Turbo charged engine producing 260PS / 256BHP @5500rpm and 380nm / 286Lb/ft torque at 3000rpm.
• Active Torque Split 4-Wheel Drive System (4WD)
• MOT’d till June 2015
• 57,000 miles
• The car is in great condition for an 8 year old car. The exterior is in excellent condition and the Velocity red paint work is immaculate. All 4 alloys are in excellent condition also. The car has to be seen.

The was purchased as an Approved Used Mazda back in October last year and as such is still covered by their Zoom-Zoom warranty until October 24th. The car had a service prior to purchase, and it had a major service back in June this year with the MOT.
Servicing & Warranty - past 12 months:
Pre-collection works - Front Discs & Pads, transmission oil, oil and filter, rear windows (x3) re-tinted.
Major Service June ’14 – including 4x spark plugs, timing chain and tensioner changed & VVT Actuator inspected, new battery installed.
Warranty work September 2014 – New Air conditioning condenser and connecting pipe + re-gas.

The car is in excellent condition and drives faultlessly. This is a torque heavy vehicle and has masses of in gear power that will rival many more modern vehicles. The car has just under a month left on the Zoom-Zoom warranty and I have ensured that any little niggles with the car have been ironed out with Mazda over the summer. The car has a Parrot hands free wired in to the Media input on the BOSE stereo to allow for MP3 and iPod playback through the stereo, and the hands free will cut in overall inputs for phone calls. It’s a good setup and certainly adds a more modern media experience to the car. This really is a fantastic example of one of Mazda’s most powerful cars, balanced with an excellent 4WD system. This car will be thoroughly missed, but I want an RX7 to play with!
