Forum rules

ONLY PAID UP MPSOC MEMBERS CAN POST ITEMS FOR SALE.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING ADVERT.

New topics may need authorising before they are seen on the forum this will be done asap by the MPSOC team.

Once a new topic is posted it will be locked and buyers should contact the seller by PM. ANY post made before the topic is locked will be deleted so please ensure you only send PM to seller with your intention to buy

Items offered for sale must be yours, no links to other people’s stuff on other forums or 'listing on behalf of a mate' etc.

Please post a full ad using the standard format below with a description of the item for sale.

If this format is not used then the thread will be deleted.

The ad must state a price that you'd be happy to accept for the item. A price with 'or offers' or something similar is fine, just asking for offers is not.

A picture must be included at the SAME TIME as placing the advert or it will be deleted.

Please state whether you are prepared to post or deliver the item, and whether the cost of delivery is included in the asking price. If it is a large item for collection only, then please state your location.

No eBay links - we have a section for items on ebay please use this.

No 'gauging interest' threads - the item is either for sale or it is not.

Once sold please PM a member of the MPSOC team to have the topic moved to the sold section, however all 'for sale' threads will be moved after 3 months (from original posting date) to the sold section so it is up to the seller to re-advertise if required.

Summary
--------------------------------------------
It’s time to sell the MPS after an enjoyable period of ownership. It’s been everything I hoped it would be but unfortunately funds can’t remain tied up, as I’m undertaking a house extension.

I purchased the car as an Approved Used Car from Perrys Mazda in Hull after spending 4 months looking for the perfect example. Hull is a 6 hour round trip from where I live, which should give an indication of the lengths I went to for this example.

It is completely unmodified and is as Mazda intended providing a blank canvas for any new owner.

It is still under the 12 months Mazda Approved Used Car warranty with Mazda Breakdown Assist, which can be extended to 24 or 36 months at the new owners expense.

The car has never been tracked, and is used sparingly at weekends with occasional longer journeys – I commute by train to work. It’s always warmed up properly before spirited driving – NOT relying on the blue dash light! – and cooled down after; it’s driven with mechanical sympathy at all times. The car drives fantastically well, pulls strongly and stops sharply.

The car is owned outright – so no finance to settle – and is HPI clear.

The price for the car is £11,450, which I believe is a fair price reflecting the vehicles condition, mileage and maintenance regime against comparable cars in the current market. Sensible offers are welcomed.

I’m not interested in any sort of P/X, thanks.

I'm located in North Bedfordshire, near St. Neots.

Feel free to PM me or call 07738 685 607 if you're interested in the car. If there's no answer please leave a voicemail and I will reply as soon as is practicable.

Proof of insurance will be required if you want to drive the vehicle, alternatively I am happy to conduct a test drive.

Key Information

Detailed service history and maintenance

2013

2014
10/02/14: One of the sidelights blew, so I took the opportunity to upgrade to LED sidelights. These are CANBUS friendly and no dashlights are lit. I wanted the sidelights to match the white of the xenon and achieved a perfect result.

23/05/14: The rear window wiper rubber started to degrade, so it was replaced with a new Mazda rear wiper.

23/06/14: 4x brand new Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta 225/40/18. I had these tyres previously on my RX8 and they performed fantastically well, providing fantastic grip in both the wet and dry, whilst also being extremely quiet at cruising speeds.

27/06/2014: Norton Way Mazda – 36k/48mnth service carried out. 4th Year Body Inspection. Mileage: 20,553
05/07/14: MOT. Pass with no advisories.

Negatives
--------------------------------------------
I'm being completely honest here in advising of any of the defects I know of. The minor issues relate entirely to the exterior; the interior is completely unmarked.

* Small scratch repair on rear bumper (picture to come). Scratch was repaired by Mazda dealer prior to my ownership.
* A few minor stone chips to the front of the car.
* Small scratch to driver side inner sill (picture to come).
* Light curbing to nearside front wheel (picture to come), other 3 wheels are perfect
* Some tarnishing to the locking wheel nuts (picture to come).

Pictures
--------------------------------------------
At the moment, I only have pictures of when I picked the car up from Mazda when I bought it.
I am taking a whole load more hi-res pictures this weekend and will post up asap.
