So I called earlier, got a quote, quote is fair so paid up deposit tonight and cover starts tomorrow

Me & Mrs 27/28
PO13 postcode
7yrs NCB
1 non fault claim against me
No convictions for either
Stock 09 plate 3MPS
£570 fully comp with all extras with £250 excess

I'm just banking they have good customer services as well if I need to call up and arent full of charges like Adrian Flux were

Cheers Nick, no brainer when it comes to attracting new customers in your game, offer the most competitive price however as I stated, must have good customer service levels too in my opinion as AF found out, even if they had offered a decent quote I'd still leave come renewal

One query I do have having received my policy doc's today, seems to be a lot of open ended "up too" limits when it comes to charges during the policy. I am looking to swap my reg plate to my private reg soon (like hopefully in the next week), given that its the same car and just a reg swap will I face a disappointing admin fee from you?

Hi Brad, the charges limits are left open-ended but in reality our admin fees are £25. Did you tell us you'd be switching to a private plate when we quoted you? It may be that there'll be no charge at all if you did.

I have been with Chris Knott before and they have always had excellent customer service, they have fairly knowledgable people just a phone call away and pick up fairly quickly when compared to the likes of the bigger competitors such as Admiral.

Only issue I have with their service is their opening hours, just make note of them if you plan to mod you car over the weekend and they are closed when you finished, meaning you won't be able to declare your new mods... thus you shouldn't really be driving your car until you can either!

Or just add the mods to your policy in the week before if you're fitting them at the weekend. We're open until midday on Saturdays too.
