Hi All,

I have just purchased a black gen 2 MPS so I thought it would be wise to join a forum and say hello! Its a 10my and has done 50k, and appears to be very clean - im very pleased with it :) I must admit I hadn't really heard of these cars before I saw one for sale and though it looked fantastic. So I went for a view and a drive.. and the rest is history!

If anyone has any tips or advise for maintenance/ownership they would be greatly welcomed :)

One thing I have noticed a is a rattling noise that seems to be coming from the fuel tank, and after a brief search t seems there is a baffle plate that is prone to coming loose within the tank. Has anyone ever come across this, and is there a fix, or is a replacement tank required?

Thanks in advance,

Joe

Hi Joe,

Welcome to the Forum and good choice in the MPS. Where abouts are you located?

I will let the other guys give you tips as im still fairly new. But there are loads of stuff to search for on here. I have a small build thread with some ideas under the projects tab.

Hi,

Thanks for the welcome! Yeah I can see lots of threads asking interesting questions however I am unable to view any of the responses - i just see a default note stating

"Only MPSOC members and users with a higher post count can see the rest of this topic. Click here to become an MPSOC member".

Do you know how many posts are required to then view the responses? I'm a little reluctant at the minute to pay for a membership without knowing what information is actually available i you see what I mean. It also seems a little odd that I cant view the responses in the membership FAQ section without firstly buying a membership :)

Kind Regards

Joe

Unfortunately a lot of the information is locked for members.

In my opinion this forum is highly worth it.

If you dont want to splash the cash right now, head on over to the FB page.

A lot of members are active on there.
