Guess whose back! Back again!! Mr. T here lol. After the Mazda 6 MPS I've had Honda Civic 1.8, followed by RS Clio 220. I got bored of it and now thinking of getting an MX-5 in grey.

I didn't manage to sell the Sure 621g knob, looks like it'd finally find a purpose again.

Most likely I'll be getting rid of the rust first and make it rustproof. Mod wise suspension, lower springs, short shifters, intake and tinted headlights etc. Nothing heavy.

So how's everyone been? Image

Rust is the biggie on the MK2, particularly on the front chassis rails which is not always cheap to repair.

Other areas will include arches and sills.

I also noticed a lot of rusty boots on the mk2 when I looked a few years ago.

No major mechanical niggles on well maintained cars.

There's a few buyers guides on mx5 forums that are useful so worth having a hunt about.
