Hi there, got pointed over here by the folks at OcUK, been told it's pretty much the best place for info and help in regards to anything MPS.

I've just bought a 57 plate Mazda 3 MPS, 78k miles, extensive service history with a load of receipts to back up the DSR.

Has the aero bodykit so the nice wing mirrors, rear wing, and lowered. Anthracite alloys without so much as a teeny tiny scratch and also has front/rear parking sensors and rear privacy glass.

I've come from driving a Cliosport 172 over the last 4 years and it's a world apart. I do miss how light the Clio was in corners and how quick I could throw the car into them. However that is quickly balanced out and bettered by the power delivery this MPS has.

Insurance went up £150/year from £750 - £900 for fully comprehensive cover. However bear in mind that's for the wifes car as well with us both as named drivers on each others cars. She's also got 2 non fault claims in the last 2 years. While not her fault for either incident, still hikes up the premium.

Most likely going to have a bunch of questions in the next few weeks, already have a few small niggles with it but nothing to ruin the fun i've already had in the last 4 days and 250+ miles :D

Now some pics...

Welcome aboard

Your car looks lovely.

You'll love it even more with a J-Tune. I'm going through the process now in a 6 (revision 7). What a transformation....

Cheers. No tune for a while, I hit the limit of what I had to spend on this. Spare cash is currently sat in savings for any sudden big bills.

Cheers, do like the black. However got in cleaned Saturday morning. By late afternoon it was covered in pollen, didn't even look like it had been cleaned.

Overclockers UK - http://forums.overclockers.co.uk - It's mainly a PC enthusiast forum but has loads of sub sections for other things. One of them being a really helpful Motors section.

Overclockers UK Forums.

Overclockers is a company that sells PC bits. It has a geeky forum full of all sorts of stuff. Has a decent Motors sub forum. I've been a member for 10 years.

Overclocking is a process that makes your processor or graphics card run faster than originally intended. The same as remapping a car.

Jesus people, have you ever heard of Google?
