This bunch are good and have low prices. Have bought two pairs of R1Rs off them

I have always had a good experience with www.event-tyres.co.uk

The prices are generally good (for non track tyres) and they come to your home or place of work to fit them.

As always, it is a case of shopping around. It amuses me that you can get a new tyre on line, opt for local fitting. and get it fitted by a local branch of a big tyre network cheaper than going straight to them

I've found with tyres now that at the local places soon as you mention online their prices suddenly take a sharp tumble downwards. Its worked for me the last few times, saved the hassle I found.

Just had great result from Black Circle two new Dunlop Maxx RT fitted £200.00 for two front tyres fitted by Spa Motors Leamington. Sold two front Federal tyres that were a very bad ride on my MPS for £65.00. The price of £200 was between £40 and £80 cheaper than others. Great result now my MPS has Dunlop on all corners and the ride plus lower noise level is great.

Well it just goes to show!! I have driven many cars over the years some fast some very fast and raced Mini Coopers in the late 60's and 70,s I have never had a problem with Dunlop tyres. They are not the trendy tyres like a lot like to fit. I visited the factory a few years back and was impressed with the research being done. Each to their own. I never follow the trend LOL.

It was more to do with the terrible wear I think

Even in the 60`s there was a tyre called the Dunlop SP Sport which had phenomenal grip in the wet. Didn`t last 5 minutes though.
