It all depends on how you drive it, im getting around 24 mpg around town but can get around 37 mpg on a run but that can drop rapidly if you put your toe down, if your worried about fuel costs dont buy an mps.

:welcome: to the club btw

/Mk2 FTW. However currently averaging 19/20mpg around town, big turbo fully bolted though. Without the big turbo kit it was 21/22 around town. Most ive seen on a run is 32 driving like granny with no boost, and the most mileage on a tank was 300 but that was a long motorway run completely off boost. Average 180 miles to a tank. Hope this helps and doesnt put you off because its all about smiles per gallon!!

I have a standard mk 1, and get 280 from a tank, mixed A road and B road. A few full boost sprints in my 20 mile commute. On a steady legal speed cruise on the motorway, I can get over 350 a tank, just under 40 MPG.

They're crap on fuel and cost a pretty penny to run. If that doesn't put you off then they are enormous fun and will make you smile every time you plant it!
