Hi, I'm Chris. Recently picked up a 6 MPS.

The car is a 2006 with 63k on the clock. Seems to be a good car so far and enjoying the torque having came from a Civic Type R. Been browsing the forums for information and advice and its been helpful.

Has anyone successfully claimed the Mazda anti perforation warranty for the rust at the 1/4 panels? The car has a full mazda history with all the body inspections completed.

I notice there is an :mpsoc: day at Ecotune so will hopefully get down there once i finish work for some spectating.

Anyways the important part:

Welcome along mate.

Car looks good. Can't see any exterior mods - is it standard? Any plans for it?

There was a bodywork recall in, I think, 2008. I got a letter and the remedial work was done months later. If that was not pursued by the previous owner, Mazda may take issue. Let`s hope that it is not the case.

Car is totally standard. First load of things done will be servicing and getting the 1/4's repaired and the wheels refurbed.

Then a decat, induction kit, tip, plate relocation. Aux mod has already been ordered as I don't have any CD's.

Also will be doing LED bulb upgrade inside and possibly a set of darkened LED rear lights.
